Chips without the guilt

We purchased the Tefal ActiFry about a month ago, and we love it.
It took a bit of getting used to the different taste of chips to what you get when deep frying, but persevere because you won't want to go back to old way.

It pays to experiment with different potatoes and oils, and of course frozen chips are excellent (McCain Chippy Chips are particularly good). The only other thing we've tried at the moment is thick sausages which were lovely too, but took a few minutes longer than the stated cooking time. I'm going to try thin ones next time.

I also like the fact that you just pop the chips in, add your spoonful of oil, and leave the machine to work its magic while you get on with something else. No need to watch over it, as there's no hot oil to worry about.

So easy to take apart too, so very quick and easy to keep clean. None of that horrible messy oil to empty every time you cook.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves chips, as we do.

This is one of the best kitchen appliances I've ever bought ;
I owned a deep fat fryer, but gave up using it, some years ago, because of all the oil needed to make chips.... So terribly unhealthy!

I relied on Frozen OVEN COOK chips, for my / our craving for chips.... But those chips always seemed to have a dry texture and taste.

Now, It is a pleasure to make Chips, with the use of my Tefal ActiFry... It's so easy to use and easy to clean.
The chips and mini sized roast potatoes, that I have cooked in my Tefal ActiFry are made healthily, with one scoop of oil and taste absolutely amazing!

In fact, the Tefal ActiFry is magical ; I love watching, the raw potato chips, turn into beautifully cooked, crispy chips, in only 30 minutes!

You can make seasoned chips, wedges and small roast potatoes.
I also put frozen chips into the Tefal ActiFry and the result is perfect crispy cooked chips.
I can't praise the Tefal ActiFry Low Fat Electric Fryer enough... It's magic!
